Walter "Butch" Riemer, of Mattoon, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 79 years old. He was born on January 27, 1938 in Mattoon, a son of Walter and Celia (Darling) Riemer. He was a graduate of Mattoon High School with the class of 1956.
