Verna Peterson, age 95, of Rhinelander, died Monday, August 14, 2006, at Friendly Village Nursing Home. She was born on December 5, 1910, in Sugar Camp to Peter and Mary Pratz. At the age of 14, Verna went to work as a cook for loggers at a railroad camp.
