Verna E. Bernarde former Pickerel resident, died Friday February 23, 2007 in West Allis, she was 94. Born on January 25, 1913 in Canada to Allen and Elizabeth (Whitteker) Barkley she married Hjalmer Agen on June 15, 1938 in Valparaiso, Indiana he preceded her in death in 1960.
