Orville H. Lee was born August 7, 1931 on his parent's farm in Hamilton County, Iowa. He was the son of George J. and Sigvalda "Horness" Lee. He attended Roland Consolidated School for 1 year. He was baptized in the Hardin Lutheran Church near Garden City, Iowa.
