Lawrence Winchell, of Elcho, died Sunday, December 27, 2009 at home under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was 85 years old. He was born on June 3, 1924 in Tomahawk, to Floyd and Ellen (Brown) Winchell. He married Doris Kreil on Feb. 2, 1952 in Wausau.
