Harold “Hal” Berndt, age 93, of the Town of Newbold passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 in the comfort of his home. He was born November 20, 1927 in Wausau, WI to Edwin and Bertha (Nimz) Berndt.Hal graduated from Wausau High School in 1945 and immediately joined the Navy at age 17.
