Gene Kelly, age 91 of Rhinelander, died Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Grace Lodge. He was born on November 17, 1919, to David and Josephine (Nitz) Kelly of Elcho. Gene attended grade and high schools in Elcho, graduating as salutatorian of the class of 1937.
