Fern I. Bartelme, age 88 of Rhinelander, died Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Friendly Village Nursing Home. She was born on March 8, 1922, in Shingleton, Michigan to William and Alice (Haff) Zacharias. Fern moved to Rhinelander with her parents in 1924 where she attended school.
