Barry R. Thiel, of Elcho, died on July 26, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 83 years old. He was born on April 3, 1941 in St. Paul, Minnesota, a son of Robert and Nita (Dudenhoefer) Thiel. He married Merle Warren May 1, 1965, they had two children and later separated.
