The Town of Sugar Camp is a civil town (unincorporated minor civil division) in Oneida County in Wisconsin's Northwoods, straddling State Highway 17 between Rhinelander and Eagle River. Its 2020 Census population was 1,857 and Wisconsin's official January 1, 2025 estimate is 1,819 (a decline of 38). It is a large (about 88.6 square miles of land), lake-rich, snowmobile- and tourism-oriented community governed by an elected town board (Chair Katie Bauknecht plus two supervisors), and it is home to Sugar Camp Elementary School in the Three Lakes School District.
