Pelican Lake is an unincorporated resort community on the shore of its namesake lake in the Town of Schoepke, a civil town in southeastern Oneida County, Wisconsin. The town recorded 388 residents in the 2020 Census and a 2025 estimate of 383, governed by an elected town board (chair, two supervisors, clerk, treasurer) that meets the second Tuesday of each month. The economy is built on seasonal lake tourism and trophy musky, walleye, and northern pike fishing on the 3,545-acre Pelican Lake, one of the largest lakes in the county. Children are served by the Elcho School District, and the community anchors around the Pelican Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, a post office (ZIP 54463), and a volunteer fire district.
