Land O' Lakes is a Wisconsin town (an unincorporated minor civil division) in northern Vilas County, on the Wisconsin/Michigan Upper Peninsula border. Its 2020 Census population was 944, with a Wisconsin Department of Administration final estimate of 958 as of January 1, 2025. The town is governed by an elected town board (a chairman and two supervisors) and is a four-season Northwoods tourism destination built around roughly 100 lakes, the Cisco Chain, the headwaters of the Wisconsin River, and extensive snowmobile and trail systems. Children attend the Northland Pines School District, and the nearest full-service hub is Eagle River, about 19 miles south.
