Woodruff community attends unveiling of mural honoring local legend Dr. Kate Pelham-Newcomb
The unveiling at the Dr. Kate Museum in Woodruff attracted more than 40 people. “People are appreciative, I think,” said Timmens. “It’s the only mural in Wooodruff.” One of the panels in Joan Christgau’s mural is lined with real pennies.
